NATO

NATO was developing plans for its new headquarters in Brussels, a very large complex of buildings to house and support thousands of people. Part of the plans included the development of storage and handling facilities for the secure movement of goods in and out of the offices. The Logistics Business was awarded the contract to analyse the logistics requirements and to recommend processes and systems to be used within the building. The work included analysis of vehicle movements and movements of goods within the offices. This resulted in recommendations, which were then incorporated into the building design.
